Based on the cultural icon, Rosie the Riveter, company owner and CEO, Dayna Hendrickson built Classic Towing with those same values, morals and strong work ethic.
In 1939 women entered a work force that was led by predominantly males. According to the Encyclopedia of American Economic History, the "Rosie the Riveter" movement increased the number of working American women to 20 million by 1944, a 57% increase from 1940. Although the image of "Rosie the Riveter" reflected the industrial work of welders and riveters during World War II, the majority of working women filled non-factory positions in every sector of the economy. What unified the experiences of these women was that they proved to themselves (and the country) that they could do a "man's job" and could do it well!
Today, Classic Towing is one of the top competing towing and parking enforcement companies in San Diego’s East County, with Dayna Hendrickson still at the helm.
Dayna grew up in the East County where she has raised daughter Kyndra who is presently attending college in Utah and her daughter Hailey, 3 years old. Dayna has owned Classic Towing for over 23 years, and has been the sole owner for 4 years. She has been recognized by many professional associations for her commitment to excellence and her continued support of many community organizations.
So as Rosie the Riveter once stated..."We Can Do It"!! And we will continue to!
